Summary

Our visionary first investor and long-time strategic advisor passes away after stepping down from Advisory Board role in May 2025

We share with great sadness that Rolf Christof Dienst, our first and repeat investor, and long-standing Advisory Board member, has passed away at the age of 79, shortly after stepping down from his Advisory Board role in May 2025.

Rolf played a pivotal role in the founding of AssetMetrix in 2013. As a visionary and catalyst, he was a core part of the initial investor circle who inspired Emmeram von Braun to establish the company. Since inception, Rolf served continuously on the Advisory Board, contributing his unique entrepreneurial drive and extensive Private Capital sector expertise and network.

Over the years, he provided invaluable strategic guidance, actively supported the acquisition of clients and investors, and played a key role in attracting top-tier talent to the company. As one of the principal financial backers through his family office, Wessel Management GmbH, Rolf’s unwavering commitment and belief in AssetMetrix’ vision were instrumental in shaping the company’s trajectory and success.

On behalf of the entire management team and the Advisory Board, we express our deepest condolences to Rolf’s family and loved ones. His passing is a great loss. He was not only a strategic thinker, but also a personal mentor and friend. His wisdom, generosity, and belief in what we are building will leave a lasting legacy to us.

AssetMetrix remains committed to driving innovation and excellence in private capital technology and services, building on the strong foundations laid with the help of early supporters like Rolf Christof Dienst.
