About the BVK

The German Private Equity and Venture Capital Association is both the voice and the face of the private equity sector in Germany. It promotes the interests of the country’s private equity industry. It campaigns for a better fiscal environment and easier access to private equity, to enable even more companies in Germany to profit from this asset class. It takes a stand on policy issues and in the media with the aim of underlining the major importance of private equity for the German economy. It monitors the market and analyzes its trends, as private equity is a motor of growth for innovation, start-ups, and SMEs. The association encourages its members to share their experiences with one another, to enable the venture capital industry in Germany to grow more closely together.
