Digital is making a place in funds back office
As part of its November 2020 issue of the Private Equity Magazine AssetMetrix and its strategic partner BNP Paribas Securities Services among other were interviewed on the digitalisation of middle office functions in private equity.
The article talks about the reasons for the increasing speed of digitalization within private equity, mentioning building pressure from Limited Partners on General Partners to provide more transparency. Especially the areas of reporting and relationship monitoring are in demand of a more digital approach. Greater efficiency, standardisation of data, providing depth and granularity of information is becoming key.
BNP Paribas Securities Services stresses that organisations need to make a call on either developing their own solutions internally or partnering with external experts to set themselves up for a digital and more efficient middle and back office.
